We're looking for a Reservation Agent who can turn inquiries into excitement and bookings into lasting impressions. If you have a passion for people, an ear for detail, and a knack for creating smooth guest journeys—this could be your stage.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Reservation Agent at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling reservations with efficiency, accuracy, and a touch of personality.

You will play a key role in maximizing room revenue while delivering exceptional service that reflects the vibrant Hard Rock brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all room reservations via phone, email, and online channels
  • Provide accurate information on room types, rates, and promotions
  • Assist guests with inquiries, special requests, and booking modifications
  • Ensure all reservations are entered correctly into the system
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and other departments for seamless operations
  • Upsell rooms and packages to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Maintain high standards of guest service and professionalism
  • Follow reservation policies, procedures, and service standards

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies

  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with reservation systems preferred
  • Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset

Industry Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years in hospitality or customer service roles
  • Experience in hotel reservations or front office operations preferred
  • Familiarity with PMS or reservation systems (e.g., Opera) is an advantage
  • Understanding of basic revenue concepts and upselling techniques
