Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Reservation Agent at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling reservations with efficiency, accuracy, and a touch of personality.
You will play a key role in maximizing room revenue while delivering exceptional service that reflects the vibrant Hard Rock brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all room reservations via phone, email, and online channels
- Provide accurate information on room types, rates, and promotions
- Assist guests with inquiries, special requests, and booking modifications
- Ensure all reservations are entered correctly into the system
- Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and other departments for seamless operations
- Upsell rooms and packages to maximize revenue opportunities
- Maintain high standards of guest service and professionalism
- Follow reservation policies, procedures, and service standards
Qualifications / Skills / Competencies
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good command of spoken and written English (additional languages are a plus)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with reservation systems preferred
- Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset
Industry Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years in hospitality or customer service roles
- Experience in hotel reservations or front office operations preferred
- Familiarity with PMS or reservation systems (e.g., Opera) is an advantage
- Understanding of basic revenue concepts and upselling techniques
