Job Scope
- Develop, implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for manufacturing operations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards in production areas
- Monitor compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and industry safety standards
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety incidents, and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate safety training, emergency drills, and promote safety awareness
- Maintain safety records and liaise with authorities during audits and inspections
Requirements
- Completed OSH-C course
- Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing or industrial safety
- Good knowledge of manufacturing hazards (machinery, chemicals, ergonomics, noise, confined spaces)
- Good communication skills and able to train employees at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
