Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities in the Malaysia & Singapore market.
What You'll Be Doing
- Identify and research potential clients (SMEs and mid-sized companies in MY & SG)
- Execute outbound strategies via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Engage decision-makers (Company Directors, CFOs, Founders) to understand their workflows and pain points.
- Qualify leads and schedule product demos for the business development team.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with founders to refine messaging and targeting.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and activities in CRM.
- Continuously iterate on outreach strategies to improve conversion rates.
Who You Are
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or outbound roles (B2B SaaS is a plus)
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections.
- Highly driven, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Curious and willing to learn about AI, automation, and finance workflows.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Lusha, AI-related tools is a plus.
