Responsibilities
- Servicing existing customer base and grow your target industries, while also develop new customers
- Perform proactive sales calls and visits to generate new sales opportunity with customers in target industries
- Engage in consultative selling with customers to solve their technical and process issues
- Translate customers requirement into technical requirement; Select or design the most suitable equipment or solution for the customer
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotation for customer projects as requested
- On-site supervision of installation, commissioning, test, training and site service where needed
- Develop thorough technical understanding of our products and customer applications
- Regular reporting of sales activity
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or Industrial Engineering or similar
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience working in sales for industrial equipment highly desirable
- Experience in handling various types of pumps such as AODD Pump, Centrifugal Pump and Metering Pump an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
- Good command of Malay and English in writing, speaking and reading
- Possesses driver's license and a car
- Willing to travel outstation 10-30% of the time
