Company Description City-Link Express, founded in 1979 as Malaysia's first local courier company, provides comprehensive package express delivery services and related logistics solutions. Its extensive network includes branches in major towns and express centers in strategic locations across the region, offering broad career opportunities in a dynamic logistics environment.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Executive role is based in Johore, Malaysia. The Sales Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage and grow existing customer accounts, and promote City-Link Express services across courier, freight, warehousing, and logistics solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting sales visits and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and inquiries. The role involves close collaboration with operations and customer service teams to ensure service quality, resolve customer issues, and maintain strong client relationships. The Sales Executive will also monitor market trends, provide feedback on customer needs, and support sales reporting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales and business development skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Strong customer relationship management abilities and a service-oriented mindset within logistics or related industries.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English; additional local language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of courier, freight, warehousing, or supply chain services, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and manage time and territories efficiently.
  • Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., CRM tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software).
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Johore and surrounding areas for client visits.
