What You'll Be Doing

The Sales Executive is designed as a HUNTER role and will be responsible for winning and retaining new business. The Sales Executive will identify target customers, develop compelling solution proposals for selling Rinchem services and develop relationships with target customers. The Sales Executive will formulate and execute strategies to penetrate new customers, while also expanding relationships and selling opportunities in newly acquired customers. The Sales Executive will need to develop and foster relationships at senior levels to understand the target customer's issues and offer the appropriate solution. The Sales Executive will need to collaborate internally across various Rinchem functions to develop and successfully sell solutions.

The Business Development Manager position is reporting to the Director of Asia Sales and Business Development directly.

Scope and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for driving increased revenue with new and existing customers
  • Penetrate assigned target customers by selling warehousing, domestic transportation, or freight forwarding
  • Build long-term, strategic account plans to target and grow both new and existing customers
  • Build, close, and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities by keeping the CRM (Salesforce) system current with accurate data
  • Drive value for Rinchem and customers through meetings and quarterly business reviews
  • Partner and collaborate with multiple business functions and leadership to create seamless execution of account plans
  • Negotiate pricing, agreements, and contracts with customers

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated sales experience in winning new customers at a high level of annual revenue
  • Deep experience in selling warehousing, domestic transportation, or freight forwarding
  • Ability to gain customer trust and respect and create strong customer relationships at the senior level
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving techniques while exercising sound judgement
  • Ability to create win-win solutions for the organization and our customers
  • Proven experience in collaborating with internal customers when navigating sales contracts and customer issues
  • Ability to develop an entrance/penetration strategy of cold calling, qualifying and effectively connecting with prospective business partners

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or other related field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Sales or Supply Chain and Logistics Management or International Freight Forwarding with proven experience.

Communication Skills:

  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate accurately and concisely

Computer Skills:

  • CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Exemplary PowerPoint skills preferred.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Expert negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management skills

Other Qualifications:

  • Travel up to 30% of the time (Domestic)
  • Valid driver's license
