Job Description
Job Summary**
Drive sales and revenue growth for United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd by acquiring new clients and deepening relationships with existing ones, primarily focusing on banking products and services.
Job Responsibilities**
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for various banking products, including but not limited to, loans, deposits, credit cards, and wealth management solutions.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals to expand the bank's client base.
- Conduct thorough financial needs analysis for potential and existing clients to recommend suitable banking products and solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals to clients, clearly outlining the benefits and features of UOB's offerings.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing their financial needs.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as credit, operations, and product development to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to effectively position UOB's products and services.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 2-3 years in sales, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of banking products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A valid driver's license and own transportation may be required depending on the assigned territory.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CEILI) are an advantage.
