Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based exclusively in Malaysia. The Sales Manager will drive business growth and market expansion, owning both new client acquisition and key account development. The role includes developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading negotiations, closing high-value contracts, and aligning internal teams to deliver client requirements. The ideal candidate will monitor market trends, benchmark competitor performance, and identify opportunities to expand market share, ensuring measurable impact on revenue and long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be based in Malaysia, ideally in or near Kuala Lumpur, with a minimum of 2 yearsproven sales experience and strong network within Malaysia's oil & gas, petrochemical, offshore, and industrial sectors
  • Proven track record in Sales Strategy, Business Development, and revenue acceleration, with demonstrated success in closing complex, high-value industrial projects
  • Strong domain knowledge in modular solutions, serving industries including oil & gas, petrochemical, offshore, and energy infrastructure
  • Deep capability in market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, pricing strategy, and early-stage opportunity identification aligned with operational demand
  • Familiarity with international safety, engineering, and compliance standards, including API 752/753, DNV, IECEx, and ATEX, is an advantage
  • Highly effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging EPCs, end users, consultants, and regulatory bodies
  • Proven ability to work on-site, manage regional travel, and adapt to fast-paced, project-driven environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant industrial sales experience is mandatory, with added advantage for candidates possessing regional project exposure
