Sales Manager

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven and commercially minded Sales Manager to lead our sales and business development activities in the civil construction and precast concrete industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, negotiating contracts and commercial terms, and working closely with internal teams to secure projects and achieve the company's sales targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and negotiation skills, a good understanding of the construction industry, and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in civil construction, precast concrete and related construction works.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with potential clients, developers, main contractors, consultants and other industry stakeholders.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, tenders and commercial submissions in collaboration with the relevant departments.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, project requirements and commercial arrangements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Understand clients project needs and coordinate with the engineering, production, project management and operations teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities.
• Manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and business opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure that project commitments, customer expectations and commercial objectives are aligned.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and support the company's business growth.
• Maintain long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
• Relevant experience in sales, business development or commercial management within the civil construction, precast concrete or building materials industry will be an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with clients and negotiate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Good understanding of construction projects, tendering procedures, quotations and commercial contract terms.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and client relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
