Job Description

An esteemed and well-established organisation is seeking a Salesforce Functional Consultant to join their growing team in Malaysia. This opportunity is ideal for a functional expert who enjoys working across diverse industries and driving impactful Salesforce implementations.

Role Overview

The Salesforce Functional Consultant will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Salesforce solutions are aligned with business needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering requirements, optimising processes, and delivering scalable CRM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements
  • Salesforce Platform Expertise: brings hands-on expertise in Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Experience), declarative configuration, and understanding of platform capabilities and limitations to help deduce feasible technical solutions.
  • Act as the bridge between business users and technical team, facilitating workshops, providing user support, and conducting training sessions to ensure adoption.
  • Configure Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related modules) as required
  • Drive user acceptance testing (UAT) and support deployment activities
  • Provide training and ongoing support to end users
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve business processes through Salesforce

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant or Salesforce Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience working in any industry (flexible domain exposure welcomed)
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and manage requirements effectively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
