Senior SAP FICO Consultant
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP Data Migration
• Lead and execute finance data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop data migration strategies, plans, mapping documents, and validation rules.
• Migrate financial master data, including:
o General Ledger accounts
o Customer and vendor master data
o Cost centers and profit centers
o Fixed assets and asset balances
o Bank master data
• Handle transactional and balance migration, including GL balances, open vendor and customer items, asset balances, and open items.
• Perform source-to-target data mapping, data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Support migration of historical financial data where required by the project.
• Execute mock migrations, migration rehearsals, cutover activities, and production migration.
• Investigate migration errors and coordinate with technical teams to resolve data-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 12+years of overall SAP experience, with substantial hands-on SAP FICO functional experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO processes and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with financial master data and transactional data migration.
• Strong understanding of opening balances, open-item migration, asset migration, and financial reconciliation.
• Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and implementation lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.& S4HANA Experience Preferred
