About the role
As Section Manager Warehouse Operations at TF AMD MICROELECTRONICS (PENANG) SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the company's warehousing and distribution operations. Based in Batu Kawan Penang, this full-time position offers a great opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading microelectronics manufacturer.
What you'll be doing
- Manage all warehouse activities in compliance with company's policies and procedures including inventory control, space utilization, and driving continuous improvement plan to meet productivity targets and development of warehouse staff.
- Accountable for delivering departmental KPIs with highest level of professionalism.
- Must be willing to take ownership of problems and responsibility for resolving them.
- Oversee all incoming goods, warehouse distributions, operation maintenance, staff safety and manage the flow of work to maximize staff efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Evaluate all warehouse procedure to maintain accuracy and ensure all warehouse activities carried out adhere to all audit compliance requirement and internal standards
- To investigate and provide quick and effective responses to resolve any issues/complaints arising from end-users.
- Well-versed with SAP Material Management/Warehouse Management.
- Communicate with warehouse staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar warehousing or logistics management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and data analysis tools
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
