Senior Account Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), bank reconciliation, and fixed assets.
2. Provide financial support for e-commerce operations, including online sales reconciliation and payment gateway settlements.
3. Prepare financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
4. Handle tax matters including SST submission, corporate tax filing, and liaising with LHDN.
5. Liaise with external tax agents to ensure timely and accurate tax computation, filing, and compliance.
6. Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
7. Ensure compliance with Companies Act 2016, EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory requirements.
8. Oversee cash flow management and prepare forecasts to support business decisions.
9. Support management reporting with analysis of financial performance and variance explanations.
10. Assist in process improvement and implementation of accounting best practices.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by the company from time to time.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
3. Prior exposure in accounting firms (audit/tax) or e-commerce industry preferred.
