Job Responsibilities
Strategic Development
Design and implement comprehensive strategic plans for Community Banking Division.
Assess market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Translate the Bank's corporate strategy into actionable objectives for the retail segment.
Market and Data Analysis
Conduct detailed analyses of market conditions, customer behaviours and competitor strategies.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Develop financial models and forecasts to evaluate the impact of proposed strategies.
Performance Monitoring
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of strategic initiatives.
Monitor and report on the progress of strategic projects, providing recommendations for course corrections as needed.
Prepare and present strategic updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with product, operations, marketing and finance teams to ensure cohesive execution of strategic plans.
Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate alignment and eliminate silos.
Drive strategic discussions and workshops across teams to foster innovation and collaboration.
Project Management
Oversee strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with external consultants or partners, if necessary, to support strategic initiatives.
Regulatory and Industry Awareness
Stay informed about regulatory developments and their implications for the retail banking sector.
Ensure that strategic plans align with compliance requirements and industry standards.
Leadership and Influence
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Lead and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Influence stakeholders to gain buy-in for strategic priorities and initiatives.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
