Are you a Senior Business Analyst ready to be a critical driver of commercial strategy Star Media Group Berhad is hiring a data professional to translate complex data into actionable commercial insights. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive analytics reports and collaborating directly with stakeholders to optimize key business decisions across our media group, influencing strategy in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Looker Studio, Google Data Studio or Tableau.
- Conduct deep-dive data analysis and compelling data visualization to translate findings into clear, impactful business recommendations.
- Web Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor The Star's websites via Google Analytics, identifying trends in user behavior to recommend strategic improvements.
- Manage end-to-end business analysis projects, from detailed requirements gathering to presenting analytical findings to senior stakeholders.
- Support the optimization of the subscriber journey across acquisition, retention, and recovery programs to maximize customer lifetime value.
Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Commercial or Web Analytics.
- Proven hands-on experience building dashboards in Google Data Studio or Tableau, plus advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Must be proficient in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and SQL for data extraction and querying.
- Prior experience within the Media, Consulting, Customer Analytics, or Social Media Analytics sectors is preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Sales Analytics methodologies, or Marketing Automation systems.
