Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Manager Business Development to lead Malaysia's higher education market expansion for Creatrix Campus.
This role is ideal for a senior sales leader who deeply understands the Malaysia & Southeast Asia higher-education ecosystem, university procurement cycles, and complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales. You will own Malaysia ARR, drive institutional partnerships, and play a key role in shaping our SEA go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & Market Ownership
- Own Malaysia ARR targets and consistently achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline across:
- Universities & colleges
- Polytechnics & TVET institutions
- Accreditation & regulatory bodies
Enterprise & Stakeholder Sales
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles involving:
- CIO / IT Heads
- Registrars & Academic Leadership
- Deans, Finance, Procurement, and Compliance teams
- Position Creatrix Campus as a strategic digital transformation partner for institutions
GTM & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Solution Engineering for demos, proposals, and RFP responses
- Work with Marketing, Product Solutions, and Delivery teams to ensure strong GTM alignment
- Provide competitive insights and market intelligence to shape SEA market strategy
Brand & Market Presence
- Represent the company at:
- Higher-education conferences
- Academic leadership forums
- Industry summits and events
- Run and support events, webinars, and digital workshops for institutional buyers
Funnel, Analytics & Growth Enablement
- Track and report pipeline and funnel performance weekly
- Drive conversion optimisation across campaigns and buyer journeys
- Collaborate with content and growth teams to:
- Build landing pages
- Develop regional marketing assets
- Support demand generation initiatives
Required Experience & Skills:
Must-Have
- 812 years of experience in:
- Higher Education SaaS / ERP / EdTech, OR
- Complex B2B enterprise sales
- Proven track record in pipeline creation and ARR ownership
- Strong understanding of higher-education buyer behaviour and procurement processes
- Experience working with CRM and Marketing Automation platforms
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on funnel optimisation experience
- Excellent presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have:
- Experience selling to universities, colleges, TVETs, or education boards in Malaysia / SEA
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives in higher education
- Experience collaborating across sales, marketing, product, and delivery teams
