Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at LEGEND DECORATION (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in our Kuala Lumpur City Centre office. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expansion for our leading decorative products company.

We provide comprehensive turnkey commercial fit-out and interior fit-out services ffering end-to-end fit-out project management with a single interface with the customer. As a trusted shop fit-out contractor in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and China businesses rely on, our services include interiors retail fit-out, interior office fit-out, hospitality fit-outs, design development, project management, millwork fabrication, global procurement, site construction, and warehousing.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities and market segments in Malaysia to expand business reach and drive revenue growth
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze trends and inform strategic business development decisions
  • Implement targeted marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and awareness across the region
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential clients including retail brands, architects, designers, hotel owners, landlords, and project management consultants locally and throughout Southeast Asia
  • Achieve revenue targets by securing new projects and partnerships aligned with company growth objectives
  • Collaborate effectively with internal functional teams to support project execution and tender submissions, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and pitches to potential clients to secure new business opportunities
  • Demonstrate initiative and work autonomously to lead business development activities and achieve measurable results

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Existing network of contacts with retail brands, architects, designers, hotel owners, landlords, and project management consultants in the region
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders and build lasting relationships
  • Ability to work independently with a focus on goal achievement and proactive initiative
