We are on the lookout for a Senior DevOps Engineer to be part of the dynamic team to build a next generation digital insurer. We are a small but dynamic bunch, working hard to bring a new digital product proposition to the market quickly.
You will be automating and streamlining the software development and deployment lifecycle by creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC), and implementing monitoring and security systems to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure application delivery. Key responsibilities include automating builds and tests, provisioning infrastructure, managing cloud resources, resolving production issues, and improving collaboration between development and operations teams.
YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Minimum 5 years of experiences as DevOps engineer. Experiences in financial services industry will be an added advantage.
- Good experiences in design, implement, and manage automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software.
- Good experiences in managing and maintain AWS cloud environments within budget.
- Good experience in implementing security measures to protect systems and applications against cyber threats.
- Good experiences in using AWS cloud platforms, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), and configuration management.
- Good experience in software development life cycle and coding with programming languages including React and Node.js
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, servers, and networking.
- Ability to implement tools and processes for monitoring system performance, health, and security, and automate repetitive tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in complex systems and identify bottlenecks in the software lifecycle.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
