Senior Environment, Health and Safety Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated EHS Associate to support Environmental, Health & Safety efforts by coordinating programs, maintaining records, assisting inspections, analysing data, and driving continuous workplace safety and compliance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EHS programs, safety campaigns, and improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate EHS records, documentation, and data across multiple systems to support regulatory requirements
• Support the delivery of EHS training, communications, and employee engagement activities to promote safety awareness
• Assist with workplace inspections, audits, corrective actions, and compliance follow-up to ensure adherence to safety standards
• Coordinate occupational health programs and site safety activities to protect employee well-being
• Analyse EHS data and prepare reports to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, Science, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety and environmental compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
• IT-savvy with attention to detail and eagerness to learn new systems and digital tools
• Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
