Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to strengthen UNIQLO's brand in Malaysia, aligned with local marketing plans and global PR direction (GHQ).
  • Drive brand positioning initiatives covering LifeWear philosophy, products, employer branding, sustainability, community engagement, and crisis communications.
  • Lead internal and external communications to ensure consistent and positive brand messaging.
  • Build strong media relationships and generate compelling stories across fashion, lifestyle, and business media (print, digital, broadcast).
  • Plan and manage PR events including press conferences, product launches, and store openings.
  • Develop and localise PR materials such as press releases, media Q&As, and factsheets.
  • Manage PR agencies, media training programmes, and spokesperson readiness.
  • Work closely with Marketing, regional, and global PR teams to support business and sales objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5–10 years of PR experience, preferably in consumer lifestyle, retail, or apparel brands, including exposure to corporate PR.
  • Experience working in a global or international business environment.
  • Strategic, creative, and collaborative, with strong media relations and cross‑functional working experience.
  • Highly organised, self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with integrity and professionalism.
