Job Description

Support the seamless execution of Training & Development (L&D) activities, for both on internal and external training. These activities include e-learning, webinars, workshops, skills gap analyses, and the annual training plan. Additionally, this role provides opportunities to gain exposure to Human Resources related activities.

Responsibilities

1.Coordinate the annual training needs analysis to ensure appropriate training programs is made available as to cater for the current and future business needs.

2.Coordination of training sessions, including:

Collecting nominations from branches/departments.

Providing relevant training documents as per standard procedure.

Managing attendance records.

Setting up the training room to create a conducive learning environment.

Arranging food and refreshments for participants as and when required.

3.Manage and administer Human Resources Development Corporation (HRDC) training grants and claims

Ensure the correct application and tracking of HRDC levy funds for training and

development purposes, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.

4.Manage and Follow Up on Post-Learning Evaluation

Collect and analyze participant feedback after training sessions.

Identify areas for improvement to enhance learning outcomes.

5.Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS)

Ensure the LMS is updated with relevant training programs, schedules, and participant

information.

Assist users in accessing and navigating the system for their learning needs.

6.Keep L&D Documentation Up to Date

Maintain and organize all L&D documentation, including training schedules,

participation records, course materials, evaluation forms, and certificates.

Generate reports on training participation, effectiveness, and ROI to provide insights

to HR and leadership.

Monitor training budgets and track costs to ensure alignment with financial goals.

7.Support Employee Onboarding Activities

Organize orientation sessions and prepare onboarding materials to ensure a smooth

transition for new employees.

8.Assist in Reviewing Training & Development SOPs

Support the review and updating of L&D Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in

collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Work closely with HR and department heads to align learning programs with business

priorities.

Coordinate with external trainers or vendors for specialized training programs.

9.Any other job assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Management or equivalent.

2. At least 5-7 years of experience in Learning & Development, or similar role with experience in training design, delivery and facilitation.

3. Having experience in conducting training or certified Train the Trainer is preferred.

4. Ability to engage and motivate participants in both in-person and virtual learning environments.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

6. Strong communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills.

7. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
