KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

  • Preparer for group reporting submission on monthly/quarterly and annually submission.
  • Handle all the queries raised from group office related to group reporting.
  • Attend to any ad-hoc request from Group in terms of group management reporting on financial.
  • Communicate with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the group reporting figures are reconciled in both FI and MI reporting on financials related to Profit & Loss account.
  • Constantly identify the gap and provide the alternative solutions/system enhancement to incorporate the reporting requirements rolled out by group office.
  • Responsible to prepare monthly EXCO and Board Papers for financials and company KPI.
  • Responsible to expenses management and accrual for month end and period end closing support.
  • Responsible to prepare reports ie KRI etc requested by business and provide analysis on the gap against Plan.
  • Prepare Annual Budget by liaising with Business and group to ensure it is submitted as per the timelines, and budget pack is accurate for the budget dialogue with Group.
  • Participate in any ad-hoc task/project/UAT assigned by the immediate superior.

REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance / Accounting
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Finance Department of takaful or conventional insurance
  • Demonstrable experience in handing current potential issues.
  • Ability to mitigate the risk of misstatement by implementing more control and improvement.
