Description
- Manage the full set of accounts, including GL, AR, AP, and bank reconciliations for the Singapore entity
- Handle daily accounting operations, such as journal entries, invoice issuance, purchase orders, and documentation control.
- Maintain accurate supporting schedules and ensure proper filing and compliance with audit requirements.
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including debtor aging, collection follow-up, and customer reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice verification, supplier reconciliations, and timely payment processing.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate management reporting and financial statements.
- Prepare financial analyses, monthly reports, and supporting schedules to aid management decision-making.
- Support budgeting and forecasting, including preparation of variance analysis and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory parties, supporting Singapore tax computations, SST submissions, and audit processes.
Profile
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with relevant professional certifications being an added advantage.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance within the aeronautical industry.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, Singapore Financial Reporting Statutory Compliance and Project Accounting.
- Familiar with Singapore tax, finance and company secretarial regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools for efficient reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members in Kuala Lumpur.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
