What you'll do:
As Senior Executive, Group Consolidation at this public-listed renewable energy engineering company based in Petaling Jaya, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of a dynamic organisation committed to sustainability. * Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial statements in accordance with MFRS/IFRS standards as well as internal accounting policies.
* Monitor intercompany transactions including balances, eliminations, and reconciliations while maintaining comprehensive working schedules to ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting.
* Assist management by preparing budgets, forecasts, and ad-hoc financial analyses that support strategic decision-making across the group.
* Review and assess the financial performance of overseas subsidiaries ensuring timely submission of accurate reports that comply with statutory requirements.
* Provide guidance and support to local finance teams on matters related to accounting standards, reporting procedures, and compliance with both local regulations and group policies.
* Deliver insightful analysis to management regarding subsidiary financial health and operational performance to inform business strategy.
* Ensure full compliance with all local statutory reporting requirements as well as overarching group policies for consolidated entities.
