Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Executive, Group Finance & Compliance will primarily be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, internal control and compliance, treasury management, and strategic financial planning. This ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of internal controls, reporting standards, cash flow management, and financial analysis. This role is based in Singapore and covers the AsiaPac Group of companies within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Control Assurance

  • Analyse and review business processes, identifying risks and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controls
  • Assist in developing workflows and procedures for improvements and alignment with group policies
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders in the preparation for annual CSA exercises, including providing guidance to control owners, process owners for submission

Finance reporting

  • Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, including helping with data gathering from subsidiaries, reviewing subsidiary submissions and consolidation entries
  • Assist with treasury related matters such as intercompany funding, debt service, FX trades, ensuring proper controls and timely execution
  • Support bank account setup, maintenance, and administration, including onboarding new accounts and updating user permissions
  • Conduct analysis of financial performance, identify anomalies and potential risks, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Work closely with finance teams across the group, coordinate with other departments, and serve as a contact for consolidation-related queries and projects

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CPA/CA is a plus)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, audit, or related role
  • Deep understanding of business and financial risk management, accounting standards, treasury functions and FP&A best practices will be preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel for work to group companies within the region
  • Proficiency in essential office skills with digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, PowerBI, Dynamics 365, OneStream) is preferred
