Job Description

This role will be responsible to supporting and managing overall aspects of the Human Resources functions.

Planning & Staffing

  • Manage and support the staffing process (i.e. recruitment, on-boarding, etc)
  • Conduct induction program for new employees

Employee Relations

  • Ensure that all employees are aware of the HR policies and procedures in place and respond to related inquiries
  • Attend to employees grievances and provide guidance
  • Advise management on resolution of employee relations issues
  • Handle disciplinary matters
  • Plan and organize engagement activities for employees

Training and Development

  • Maintain up-to-date training records
  • Coordinates any in-house/ external/ public training
  • Manage and support in HRDC applications

Payroll and HR Administration

  • Support the processing of monthly payroll
  • Handle HR administrative task (i.e. health insurance, parking claims, staff meals, staff leaves, etc)
  • Maintain up-to-date information of employees in the HRIS
  • Ensure all personnel files are kept up-to-date
  • Maintain records of benefit plans and employee statistics for government/statutory reporting/audits

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources and/or have taken short courses in Human Resources OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience
  • Sound knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act & Labour Laws and Grievance Procedures
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Outspoken personality- love to meet and communicate with people
  • Independent, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Well-organized with strong time management skills
