Job Responsibilities
1. Product Group Management
- Monitoring and manage performances of below products:-
- Hydraulics Product Group
- Hoses & Couplings
- Hydraulic Pumps
- Cylinder & Rods
- Hydraulic Repair Options
- Analyze problems and opportunities and recommend marketing strategies to improve sales for above products
- Formulate and execute merchandizing programs for the above products
- Provide marketing support to branches for the above products
- Provide technical guidance and support on hydraulic component diagnostics, repair and rebuild solutions, including pumps, cylinders and related assemblies
- Support branches in identifying rebuild opportunities and developing hydraulic repair options to drive aftermarket growth
- Work closely with workshop and technical teams to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and turnaround time of hydraulic rebuilds are optimized
2. Advertising and Promotion
- Assist Manager, Product Support for Head, Construction Industries (CUI) and Resource Industries (RI) & Marketing in liaising with branches communications department to promote parts campaigns.
3. Liaison with Principal
- Together with Manager, Product Support (Head, CI & RI) & Marketing, liaise with Principal pertaining to:
- Product group management and marketing related issues
- Development and implementation of marketing programs
- Formulating customer's seminars to increase awareness of our merchandizing program activities and to promote the products image
4. Competitive Information
- Analyze and report competitive activities
- Track and record competitive pricing
- Conduct regular analysis of competitor strengths and weaknesses
- Work with branches to gather competitive information
5. Parts Pricing
- Assist Manager, Product Support (CI & RI) & MarketingHead, CI & RI to coordinate bi-annual Price Uupdate by parts principals & maintaining parts parameters
- To assist branches on parts pricing issues & ensure the integrity of the pricing are maintained
- To assist Manager, Product Support (CI & RI) & MarketingHead, CI & RI on parts pricing proposals to customer
6. Assist Marketing & Sales Division in achieving its Strategic goals through business / process improvement initiatives and to assist the branches to achieve their target & monitor performance.
7. To carry out after sales marketing functions or any other duties as instructed by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Marketing & Sales or in any related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in hydraulics, aftermarket support or related field; candidates with hydraulic rebuild experience will have a distinct advantage. 3 - 5 years working experience in the same field will be qualified
- Marketing or sales experience is preferred especially in the similar industry or motor industry
- Possess good oral, interpersonal communication skills and analytical thinking in addition to positive aptitude and attitude
- Fluent in spoken and written in English & Bahasa Melayu
- Hands-on experience in hydraulic component rebuilds (e.g. pumps, cylinders, valves) is preferred, with strong understanding of failure analysis, repair standards and serviceability assessment
- Ability to analyze, organize and administer. Knowledge of PC and software, especially spreadsheet is necessary.
