JOB PURPOSE
This role is responsible to assist Landscape team in all matters pertaining to the overall project management and development process which includes project planning (review of consultant's design and tender document), implementation and maintenance during DLP, progress monitoring, general site management, progress claim, contractor's and consultant's payment, preparing annual budget for landscape maintenance, liaison with authority on landscape matters.
Project Planning & Development
- Prepare Request for Technical Proposal (RTP) for appointment of Landscape Architect
- Review landscape designs and tender drawings to ensure discrepancies are minimized and accordance to the specifications
- Review costings to be within design budget and approved budget
- Monitor the timeline are within the allocated timeframe
- Prepare MP for new project i.e. Project Brief
Project Progress Monitoring
- Plan and monitor the overall execution of project management for landscape to be within allocated budget, cost and time with the right quality and performance
- Identify all risks for the projects
- Coordinate day to day site activities with all party involve on the technical matters and ensure smooth and proper implementation of the projects
Project Finance
- Monitor financial status of the projects for cost control
- Prepare landscape budget for Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Review and advise on landscape design through engineering value prior to cost savings for all landscape projects
Project Quality & Safety
- Monitor work procedures and quality of workmanships of project deliverables are according to ISO and Quality standards
- Implement approved safety, health & environment standards towards meeting customer's expectation and fulfilling Company SOP and Statutory Regulations
- Assist Project Manager during audit assessment
Contract Management & Construction Management
- Coordinate with Contracts on pre and post contract functions, which include reviewing tender & contracts documents and construction drawings
- Work closely with Consultants on technical drawings
- Monitor quality of products to meet specifications and drawings, construction cost and variation orders within the approved budget
- Assist Contracts Department on the contractual matters until final account
Authority Liaison & Compliance
- Liaise with relevant authorities for Landscape Plan approvals
- Ensure work completed and accepted by Authority prior to CCC
Project Reporting
- Analyse report on the projects financial and physical progress and cash flow
- Provide the relevant periodically performance reports for the assigned projects and tasks
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCES
- Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Agriculture or Park Management or any equivalent discipline
- Minimum Four (4) years with extensive exposure in landscaping and/or other relevant experiences
- Knowledgeable in contract administration and construction management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Auto CADD and Computer Graphic software
- Understand the detail drawings, standard & work program and able to understand process of inspection & requirement
- Independence and able to meet deadlines
