Job Purpose
The incumbent is responsible to manage an efficient and effective Policy Administration team by meeting and exceeding management's expectations on operational processes. The complexity of the insurance business requires the incumbent to acquire a thorough knowledge of the different insurance products (and their functionalities / technicalities) and operational processes to ensure customer's enquiries are resolved in accordance with agreed service levels. The incumbent is also required to work closely with other operations departments in delivering excellent service quality to customers.
Job Responsibilities

- Process all incoming requests within the service standard and ensure all processes are done prudently and in accordance to all regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Attend and handle enquiries of the sections made through referrals promptly.
- Prepare daily / monthly report / statistics for the individual section as per management's requirements.
- Support superior to continuously review processes, identify and resolve service gaps through constructive feedback, and implement process improvements where appropriate.
- Recognize and determine trends in problems occurrence or workflow, referring upwards for further investigation where appropriate.
- Undertake any other tasks allocated by management as and when required.
- Continuously attend / involve with training for personal and carrier development.
Job Requirements
- A basic degree and/or professional life insurance qualification eg. ACII, AMII, AAII, FLMI, with at least 2 years working experience in operations management.
- Customer focused with excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work with a positive attitude & excel under pressure.
- Self-motivated, love challenges, result oriented and able to work well with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Articulate and proficient in written and spoken English.
- Must be willing to work long hours, weekends and public holidays if required.
