Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing and managing pricing strategies for project cargo, RFQs, tenders, and ad-hoc requests. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, respond to customer enquiries, and ensure pricing remains competitive and compliant with company policies and regulatory standards.

The role require to execute the below tasks and initiative:

  • Develop pricing for projects, bids, tenders, and customer enquiries via Tessbid/Ebid, email, ad-hoc, and Out-of-Gauge (OOG) requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (OCC, ACC, Charter Desk), local vendors, and regional pricing teams to gather accurate cost data and project requirements.
  • Build strategic pricing models that balance competitiveness with risk mitigation.
  • Present and explain pricing clearly to internal stakeholders and clients when required.
  • Foster strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal pricing policies and secure necessary approvals.
  • Maintain adherence to local and international regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit productivity reports accurately and on schedule.
  • Support internal pricing audits and provide required documentation.
  • Uphold company procedures and reporting protocols.

To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below:

  • Bachelor's Degree (CGPA 3.0 and above or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing, estimating, or commercial/projects, preferably within the logistics or shipping industry.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience handling project cargo and familiarity with RFQ, bid, contract, or tender processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skil ls fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Solid understanding of cost structures, risk analysis, and project timelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.
