HLB is embarking on a comprehensive multi-year regional customer experience transformational journey encompassing products, channels and services across the different markets.
We are looking for people with highly enthusiastic, detail-oriented web analysts to help create data-driven marketing solutions. The web analyst's responsibilities include thoroughly analyzing a web asset's, managing tagging, generating insightful analytics to help better understand its users, and reporting back with easy-to-understand data visualizations and clear solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Marketing Insight & Revenue Generation
Analyze corporate website and mobile asset performance to identify gaps in the digital conversion funnel. Turn raw data into actionable revenue opportunities by recommending specific site-side optimizations to the marketing team.
Produce marketing KPI dashboards that track on-site user journeys campaign effectiveness and content ROI. Provide deep-dive analysis on customer acquisition costs and lifetime value to ensure investments in corporate website properties are driving profitable growth.
Analyse patterns of user behaviors within the corporate website to support the Marketing Digital Team in creating personalized experiences. Use data to troubleshoot UI/UX friction points, increase page engagement, and convert website leads into paying customers.
Strategic Coordination & Technical Bridge
Act as the primary coordinator between the Analytics Implementation Team, the Digital Content Team, and Business Stakeholders. Support and translate business requirements into technical tagging specifications for the external team, and translate technical data limitations or opportunities into business language for stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage end-to-end tagging strategies and SDK integrations by leveraging in mobile app analytics and Mobile Measurement Partners (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch) or platforms like Firebase act as a technical bridge to ensure the Analytics Implementation team captures high-fidelity marketing insights while empowering the Digital Content team to effectively utilize tracking data.
Validate the data quality provided by external vendors before it reaches business reports. Ensure that tagging and SDKs are functioning correctly across all digital assets (pre-login, post-login, and mobile applications) to maintain trust in our data.
Operational & Enabler Functions
Generate easy-to-understand data visualizations and narrative reports that explain why specific trends are happening and what the business should do about them.
Coordinate, review, and manage the delivery of web analytics and tagging projects, ensuring external vendors meet timelines and internal stakeholders receive timely insights.
Coordinate with a small sized team consisting of solution architect and developer to deliver insight analysis and tagging projects
Implement process improvements for productivity and timeliness
Education/Qualification
Degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology (Data Analytics), Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, Banking/ Finance/ Statistics or related disciplines.
Proficient in Google Analytics or related web analytics tools
Experience/Skills
3to 5 years of experience in web data analytics. Familiar with marketing performance and revenue optimization are an added plus.
Proven experience acting as a liaison between technical engineering/data teams and non-technical business/marketing teams.
Special Skills
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, and Tag Management Systems. Familiarity with SDK implementation for mobile apps is essential.
Able to translate complex technical concepts (tagging/SDKs) into clear business value for stakeholders. Good communication and collaboration skills to manage implementation partners and content teams.
Able to troubleshoot data discrepancies between technical implementations and business reporting.
