Role Description
- This is a full time role for a Senior Finance Executive at Ariff Communications. You will be responsible for full-set accounting, invoicing, payroll, and statutory compliance for the company and its clients. Supports month-end closing, budgeting, tax filings, audit coordination, and maintains accurate financial records while handling ad-hoc finance tasks as required.
Financial Responsibilities
- Provide full-set accounting services, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and payroll solutions (where applicable) to company and clients.
- Handlee-invoicing, month-end closing, payroll processing, andstatutory payments(income tax, staff claims, and regulatory submissions) in full compliance with applicable laws and standards.
- Manageclient invoicingprocesses, including purchase agreements, quotations, billing, and collections, as well assupplier/vendor registration, and payment processing.
- Processweekly payments, ensuring proper documentation, accurate record-keeping, and systematic filing of all payment-related records.
- Consolidate monthlyfinancial data, monitoring budget versus actual performance, and assisting with variance analysis and explanations.
- Ensure compliance withlocal tax laws and regulations, including end-to-end preparation ofcorporate income tax returns, deferred tax computations, indirect tax filings (e.g. SST), oversight of withholding tax compliance and in coordination with external tax advisors.
- Assist in coordinating withinternal stakeholders and external auditorsfor the preparation and completion of annual audited financial statements.
- Maintain well-organisedphysical and digital filing systemsto ensure efficient document retrieval and compliance with statutory record-keeping requirements.
- Performad-hoc financial dutiesas assigned by the Director.
Job Requirements
- MinimumBachelor in Accountingor equivalent
- Minimum3 years of relevant experiencein accounting and taxation.
- Strongorganisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient inMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel)and relevant accounting and statutory platforms (e.g. QNE software, MyInvois Portal, i-Akaun, Assist Portal, and other regulatory systems).
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Proven ability tomulti-task, prioritise responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level ofintegrity and confidentialityin handling employee, company, and financial information.
- Positive attitude, strongteamwork orientation, and willingness to support colleagues across the company.
- Experience working in an agency environmentwill be an added advantage.
