Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to support our Finance Manager/Supervisor in daily finance operations. You will handle payments, invoices, reconciliations, and provide accurate financial insights that support smooth business operations. The ideal candidate is someone who understands best-practice accounting and can help strengthen our expense control and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Manager/Supervisor with timely delivery of all accounting tasks.
- Work closely with internal teams to gather, analyse, and interpret financial data.
- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and payments.
- Match system reports with actual balances and ensure accuracy of postings.
- Manage expense allocation, cost centres, and petty cash control.
- Handle AP/AR payments, statement reconciliation, and resolving PO/invoice discrepancies.
- Reconcile transactions to the general ledger.
- Maintain proper records and assist in preparing financial reports.
- Willing to learn and able to work fast paced
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in F&B or retail
- Degree in Accountancy and/or pursuing recognised professional qualification such as CPA ICAEW ACCA CIMA
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
