Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To oversee, maintain and handle day-to day financial and accounting functions included Account Receivable, Account Payable and General Ledger
  • Prepare full set of accounts and prepare various financial/accounting reports, budgeting, cash flow management for management review
  • Prepare billings and documentations for management verification and approval
  • Liaise with operations team, external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other parties to comply with regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Ensure proper filing of all documents related to the company's financial records
  • Monitor bank balance, and monthly bank reconciliation, process payments and any banking related matters
  • Ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all financial data
  • Perform any other related duties or assignment as and when required by the management
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget, budgetary control analysis and financial plans that support organizational strategy
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and establish controls to avoid errors in the process
  • Ensure operation matters are compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of working experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Possess a Degree/Professional accounting qualification/Diploma with relevant experience
  • Good command of written and spoken Malay and English
  • Experience in financial activities sectors will be an added advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
