A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Senior Account Executive whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The Senior Account Executive works closely with the Regional Head of Finance and the Finance and Operations to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day financial transactions, such as processing payments, maintaining cost reports and invoices. The core focus of the team is to maintain the financial health of the business, and it's the Senior Account Executive's role to supervise the team and ensure that reports are prepared in a timely manner.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Build solid relationships and give financial support across all departments and vendors
  • Responsible for daily accounting operations including AR/AP, general journal entries, cashflow projection, OR, bank reconciliation, bills and payments
  • Prepare balance sheet and P&L statements and ensure the accuracy of all data
  • Prepare and monitor forecast and cashflow projections on a bi-weekly basis
  • Verify monthly sales report
  • Prepare monthly recurring billing and issue ad-hoc invoices
  • Review all invoices, aged receivables, external payments, refunds, etc. and resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Prepare member's deposit refunds
  • Prepare daily invoice posting and transfer form approval
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors and taxation advisor
  • Prepare monthly landlord reconciliation report
  • Assist with preparing month-end closing reports
  • Support the finance team with upcoming deadlines when needed

Requirements

  • Three to Five years experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Personable with strong verbal and written communication
  • Exceptionally organised with the ability to multitask
  • Thrives under pressure and solution-oriented
  • A University Degree in finance, accounting or a related field is an advantage
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Good business acumen
  • Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup business would be an advantage
  • Fluent in English, and any other additional lanuage is a plus
