We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as SeniorOperations Manager - FA based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Practice Lead, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Financial Accounting department and its growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SSC Financial Accounting operations, ensuring high-quality client servicing and consistent delivery for business units.
- Manage capacity planning, workload allocation, and resource utilization to meet service levels and turnaround times.
- Drive performance management through KPI tracking, reporting, and regular communication with business units and business leaders.
- Own SSC financial performance, including profitability, budgeting, and cost control.
- Build, enhance, and continuously improve the SSC operating model, including process optimization and automation initiatives.
- Provide strong people leadership by coaching, developing, and engaging team members to achieve professional competence.
- Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and strengthen client relationships to achieve satisfaction, retention, and service excellence.
- Support business growth through client onboarding, identification of additional scope, and cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, with proven supervisory and team management capability.
- Strong ability to plan, manage, and implement Group internal policies and operational controls.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. UBS, ACCPAC, SAP) is an advantage; strong computer literacy is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, with good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Able to work independently, multitask effectively, and collaborate well within a team.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and stakeholder management ability.
- High sense of urgency with the ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritize deliverables soundly.
