Reports to: HR Director

Location: Subang Jaya, Malaysia

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, HRBP will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving people strategies that support business growth, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. This role is responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, supporting workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with senior leaders and line managers to understand business priorities and translate them into effective HR strategies and solutions.
  • Provide strategic guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and capability building.
  • Lead and support employee relations matters, ensuring fair, compliant, and consistent handling of disciplinary issues, grievances, and workplace concerns.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans where necessary.
  • Support leadership development, coaching, and manager capability enhancement across the business.
  • Analyse workforce trends, attrition, engagement, and other HR metrics to identify risks and recommend action plans.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and other HR functions to deliver integrated people solutions.
  • Support change management initiatives, including restructures, business transformation, and cultural alignment.
  • Ensure HR policies, processes, and practices are implemented effectively and comply with company standards and local labour regulations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, promoting a positive, high-performance, and values-driven culture.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial exposure in HRBP, HR Generalist, or Strategic HR roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, talent management, and labour law.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies to commercial goals.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
