This role is responsible for the endtoend management of assigned bancassurance partners, with a strong focus on operational execution, governance oversight, and daytoday account delivery. You will work closely with bank partners and internal teams to ensure smooth partnership operations, sustainable business growth, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.
The role plays a critical part in safeguarding partnership delivery by overseeing governance processes, managing operational risks, and driving effective execution of agreed initiatives and business plans.
Key Responsibilities
Account and Partnership Management
- Manage and maintain strong working relationships with assigned bank partners
- Execute agreed business strategies and annual business plans in close collaboration with bank partners and internal stakeholders
- Conduct regular business and operational reviews to monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with agreed objectives
Operational Execution and Governance
- Oversee daytoday operational execution for assigned bancassurance accounts, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives and business activities
- Act as a key coordination point across internal functions including operations, customer servicing, product, compliance, risk management, finance, and information technology
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, governance standards, and internal control frameworks, including proper documentation, approvals, and reporting
- Support the preparation, coordination, and followup of governance forums, regulatory submissions, internal reviews, and audits where applicable
Business Planning and Delivery
- Support the formulation and execution of sales, marketing, and customer engagement initiatives with bank partners
- Track, monitor, and report progress of initiatives, projects, and deliverables against agreed timelines and commitments
- Identify operational, execution, or delivery gaps and proactively recommend mitigation actions to minimize risks
Stakeholder and Internal Coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact between bank partners and internal teams on operational, governance, and executionrelated matters
- Ensure clear and effective communication of business requirements, operational changes, and governance updates to all relevant stakeholders
- Support crossfunctional alignment to ensure smooth implementation of initiatives and minimise operational and delivery risks
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree in any discipline
- Insurancerelated and/or investmentrelated qualifications will be an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum of ten years experience in banking, insurance, or financial services, preferably within bancassurance or partnership distribution environments
- Proven experience in account management, operational execution, and stakeholder coordination
- Strong numerical and analytical capability
- Meticulous, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
Skills and Competencies
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills, with the ability to engage senior internal and external stakeholders
- Solid understanding of bancassurance products and endtoend operational processes
- Strong governance awareness, risk sensitivity, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fastpaced environment
- Strong business and commercial acumen, with structured problemsolving skills and the ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience in developing highquality management presentations, with strong presentation skills and the ability to build clear, compelling narratives for senior management and partners
- Background in management consulting or consultingstyle roles will be a strong advantage
- Selfmotivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
