Senior Manager/ Manager, Interbank Dealer

Job Responsibilities

• To manage and ensure the Bank's liquidity or funding (Ringgit and foreign currencies) in Rentas and Nostro accounts are sufficient at all times.

• To execute necessary gapping plan to generate interest income for the Bank.

• To quote competitive pricing for MM, plain vanilla FX, and derivatives to sales dealers.

• To manage the FX and derivatives position and exposure arising from customer trades to be within tolerated limit and maximize FX profit.

• Daily ROMS reporting to Bank Negara Malaysia.

• To execute the fixed income investment plan for the Bank in Banking Book.

• To establish and maintain good rapport with interbank counterparties.

• To work closely with middle and back office to ensure smooth execution of treasury trades with minimal error.

• To work diligently, efficiently with a high level of integrity as per BNM's Code of Conduct for Wholesale Financial Market.

• To ensure the Bank's internal operational procedures and regulatory guidelines are observed from time to time to minimize associated risks.

• To undertake any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Head of Department and/or the Senior Management.

Job Requirements

1. At least a Bachelor degree in finance, banking, accounting or equivalent from a reputable university.
2. At least 3 years working experience in handling MM, fixed income or FX.
3. Must possessed Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate (PKMC). Knowledge on the development on financial markets.
4. Capability in working independently and performing multiple tasks within tight deadline.
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels.
6. A good team player.
7. PC literate preferably in Microsoft Office (e.g. Words, Excel, etc).
8. Conversant either in English and/or Mandarin (both spoken and written).
9. Meticulous, high accuracy in deals input.
