As a Senior Marketing Executive, you'll be reporting to the Head of Marketing and collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, actively contributing to the development and implementation of strategic digital marketing and marketing plans to promote BYD Malaysia brands – BYD and DENZA and its products. Your role will involve a wide range of marketing activities, including but not limited to digital marketing, market research, product launch and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing
- Assist in campaign and execution across channels (Website UX/UI, SEO, SEM, social media, performance, app and more).
- Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Sprinklr and prepare reports and recommend actionable improvements.
- Assist in content & social media management.
- Support management of paid campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) by on ad creatives preparations and check list of format optimization.
- Assist with on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Work with developers to improve website UX and performance.
- Monitoring & Data Collection – this includes tracking and analyzing of sentiment and trend analysis, competitor & industry insights, crisis & reputation management.
Marketing
- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences and competitive information to inform marketing decisions.
- Engage with customers through various communication channels to gather feedback and build brand loyalty.
- Complete any additional duties as requested by the marketing manager or management, including the timely submission of reports.
Team Coordination & Leadership
- Collaborate with designers, PR, Partnership Manager, Event Manager and developers
- Support the Managers in decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product specialist after sales, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
- 3- 5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing – social media, website management or marketing.
- Strong written, communication and presentation skills with fluency in English, Mandarin (preferably) and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic graphic design applications i.e. Adobe Suite or Canva.
- High attention to detail, creative with strong problem solving & analytical skills.
- Self-motivated proactive and able to work independently or in team.
