Scope of the Role:
The role sits within one of H&S's most valuable account teams servicing one of our key global brands. The team is highly passionate in providing creative & innovative solutions to the client, while having flawless operations delivery. The Senior Media Planner will work closely with the Planning Manager to lead a portfolio of key clients. This role involves developing and implementing strategic media solutions, driving business growth through data-driven insights, and nurturing junior talent within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being part of new business development and pitches
- Lead communications planning and media strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and execute strategic communications and media plans aligned with client business goals.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, helping to develop their skills and grow within the company.
- Work with H&S's proprietary planning system OMNI STUDIO, to develop data-driven, strategic media solutions.
- Oversee the planning and execution of both online and offline media campaigns.
- Leverage consumer insights to drive innovative media strategies that align with client objectives.
- Drive cross-channel planning, integrating both digital and traditional media platforms.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of media campaigns, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide insights based on data and industry trends, offering innovative ideas to clients.
- Manage campaign budgets, timelines, and performance metrics, ensuring campaigns meet or exceed client expectations.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in media or communications, with a strong focus on digital-centric approaches and integrated media planning.
- Proven experience in client management, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive media solutions.
- Hands-on experience with media planning tools and systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- A positive, proactive approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
