Plan, implement, and maintain networked systems, including configuration management, troubleshooting network issues, and coordinating with vendors for installations of network hardware such as Arista, Fortinet, Cisco, and Aruba routers & switches, wireless controllers, and circuits.
Conduct in-depth technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, with a focus on Fortinet SDWAN, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, routers, and switches.
Serve as a technical liaison with vendors and customers, ensuring smooth resolution of network-related concerns.
Apply advanced knowledge of WAN/LAN and internet protocols to troubleshoot existing network issues, implement new solutions, and manage migration projects.
Collaborate with solution, architecture and project teams to plan network upgrades, technology refreshes, migrations and expansions.
Provide onsite or remote support as required; may include after-hours support or travel to branch/off-site locations.
Ensure adherence to standard processes (change management, incident management, problem management) and collaborate with security/compliance teams for network hardening.
Job requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or relevant discipline (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 5 years of professional experience working with Cisco routing & switching in a medium/large enterprise or telco environment.
Proven hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba wireless (access points, controllers, WLAN management)
Experience in Cisco R&S, Fortinet SDWAN, specifically Routing & Switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, eigrp, RSVP, MPLS, and NAC.
Experience with network monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and NetBox is highly desirable.
Good troubleshooting skills: packet capture/analysis, understanding of TCP/IP suite, ability to isolate network issues end-to-end.
Good communication skills in English; ability to work with stakeholders across teams.
Certifications are an advantage: e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP Enterprise/CCNP wireless, Aruba ACCA/ACMP vendor certifications.
Able to work independently and good team work, with strong analytical skills.
