The Senior Payroll responsible to oversees end-to-end payroll processing, ensures compliance with statutory and company policies, manages payroll accuracy and reporting, and handles escalations while continuously improving payroll processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own the delivery of end-to-end payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory and internal requirements
- Maintain strong payroll governance by ensuring data integrity, validation standards, and audit readiness
- Act as a key point of reference for payroll-related matters, supporting issue resolution and providing guidance on policies and processes
- Monitor payroll movements and exceptions, identifying variances and supporting root cause analysis
- Support benefits administration through payroll integration and data validation
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to strengthen efficiency, control, and scalability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on benefits administration, time and attendance management, and employee support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage employee inquiries and collaborate across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze data and suggest improvements to processes and policies.
- Strong understanding of SOCSO and other local statutory requirements.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
