Job Title: Senior Consultant
Department: Life Sciences - Sales (Cell Biology)
Purpose of Job
- To drive the growth of the Life Science product portfolio by integrating technical knowledge, marketing strategies, and commercial execution
- This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing within an assigned territory, ensuring effective product positioning, customer engagement, and achievement of sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Company's Life Science product portfolio and services
- Drive sales performance by managing the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing—within the designated territory to achieve sales targets
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts, including ownership of specific product lines, ensuring long-term engagement and business retention
- Promote and position products and solutions effectively by aligning customer needs with appropriate technical and commercial offerings
- Conduct product presentations, pre-sales demonstrations, and customer engagements using effective technical selling skills
- Identify new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and maximize conversion rates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and positioning
- Support product launches, promotional activities, and market expansion initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, application, and service) to support projects and tenders
- Willing to travel outstation as required and possess own transportation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent; preferably in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields
- Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in research, marketing, or sales of Life Science products will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of standard scientific methods, techniques, reagents, and laboratory equipment is preferred
- Exposure or knowledge in Cell Therapy, Cell Culture, Flow Cytometry, and/or Protein Analysis will be an added advantage
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and handle customer issues effectively
- Ability to work independently while managing assigned tasks, accounts, and responsibilities
- Strong understanding of Life Science products (e.g. Flow Cytometry, Protein Analysis, Cell Biology) is an advantage
- Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills:
