Role Overview:
The role is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of motive power solutions by managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and providing technical-commercial support to customers. The position plays a critical role in bridging engineering solutions with customer operational needs to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within assigned industries, ensuring long-term relationships, repeat business, and high customer satisfaction levels.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, market mapping, and engagement with end users, consultants, and channel partners.
- Provide technical sales support on motive power solutions, including batteries, chargers, energy systems, and related services, by understanding customer applications, operating environments, and performance requirements.
- Conduct product presentations, solution proposals, and technical clarifications to customers, aligning product capabilities with operational efficiency, safety, and lifecycle cost considerations.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing structures, and contractual terms in line with company policies, margin expectations, and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate closely with service, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution, installation support, and after-sales service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support sales strategy refinement and product positioning.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and reporting through CRM systems to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and corporate governance in all customer engagements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related disciplines).
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in technical sales or business development, preferably within motive power, industrial batteries, energy solutions, or material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of industrial applications such as forklifts, automated warehouses, logistics operations, or manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles involving technical evaluations, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder alignment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as required to support customers and business development activities.
