Senior Sales Executive

microLEAP - Kelantan, Klang Valley & Negeri Sembilan

About this Role:

In this critical role, you will be responsible in driving growth by acquiring, growing, and retaining Investors (Lenders) and Issuers (MSME Borrowers) through effective promotion of microLEAP's P2P Financing solution. This position is based in Kelantan, Klang Valley & Negeri Sembilan offering a compensation package inclusive of salary and commission.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and cultivate the Issuer/SME and investor base to meet established sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Senior Sales Manager and their team to achieve targets and budgets.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Develop leads from current commercial customers, referral sources, and participation in sales and trade events.
  • Engage in region-wide customer acquisition activities, demonstrating mobility and flexibility.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and proactively manage customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address operational, credit, and risk-related issues.
  • Review and provide regular weekly and monthly sales performance reports promptly and within deadlines.
  • Be honest and transparent when reporting on Company-referred leads
  • Exhibit commitment to company values and culture in daily responsibilities and interactions.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks or projects in consultation with C-level executives.
  • Take instructions clearly

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or any equivalent professional finance qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICSA, CFP, CEILLI or PCIL is an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably with background in Banking, Financial Services, Fintech, or SME financing preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and target-driven
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel
  • Attractive commission remuneration, potentially reaching up to five figures for successful deals.
