Key Responsibilities
1. Market Analysis & Research
- Identify customers needs and business objectives to align with our product offerings.
- Conduct in-depth market research to define global cosmetics trends, new formulations, and product innovations.
- Analyse and summarise data to support product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
- Identify market opportunities and customer pain points to develop new business solutions.
2. Product Development & Innovation Support
- Gather, share, and generate new product development (NPD) ideas with the innovation team and technology partners.
- Develop compelling business cases for new products and support marketing strategy creation.
- Propose suitable trends, concepts, and products to customers to drive new business opportunities.
3. Sales & Business Development
- Build and expand an active portfolio of customers, including hunting for new clients and strengthening existing relationships.
- Communicate frequently with customers to understand opportunities and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and packages to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Deliver engaging product presentations and trend pitches to win new deals.
4. Sales Performance & Targets
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and incentives.
- Track, forecast, and report on sales performance with accuracy.
- Stay thoroughly knowledgeable and well-prepared to present all trends, products, and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/Management/Marketing/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years experience in new product development, marketing or sales in cosmetic products/industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives.
- Knowledge of cosmetics formulations and market dynamics is an advantage.
