Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Analysis & Research

  1. Identify customers needs and business objectives to align with our product offerings.
  2. Conduct in-depth market research to define global cosmetics trends, new formulations, and product innovations.
  3. Analyse and summarise data to support product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
  4. Identify market opportunities and customer pain points to develop new business solutions.

2. Product Development & Innovation Support

  1. Gather, share, and generate new product development (NPD) ideas with the innovation team and technology partners.
  2. Develop compelling business cases for new products and support marketing strategy creation.
  3. Propose suitable trends, concepts, and products to customers to drive new business opportunities.

3. Sales & Business Development

  1. Build and expand an active portfolio of customers, including hunting for new clients and strengthening existing relationships.
  2. Communicate frequently with customers to understand opportunities and provide tailored solutions.
  3. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and packages to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  4. Deliver engaging product presentations and trend pitches to win new deals.

4. Sales Performance & Targets

  1. Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and incentives.
  2. Track, forecast, and report on sales performance with accuracy.
  3. Stay thoroughly knowledgeable and well-prepared to present all trends, products, and solutions.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/Management/Marketing/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. At least 3-5 years experience in new product development, marketing or sales in cosmetic products/industry.
  3. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  4. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  5. Demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives.
  6. Knowledge of cosmetics formulations and market dynamics is an advantage.
