ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Senior Social Media Executive with strong B2B experience to join our regional marketing team. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role will operate as part of our in-house agency, supporting multiple B2B brands and events across Asia Pacific.
This role combines hands-on social media execution, content marketing excellence, and data-driven campaign planning, with the opportunity to help define and scale social media best practices across the region for 180+ world class trade shows & conferences.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own B2B social media management (APAC): Plan, manage, and optimize always-on and campaign-based social programs across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, X, YouTube, and relevant local platforms where applicable.
- Content marketing & storytelling: Develop strong content angles, write and adapt copy, and translate complex B2B topics into engaging content formats (posts, carousels, short-form video briefs, thought-leadership series, event launch campaigns, exhibitor/partner highlights).
- Campaign planning and execution: Build integrated social plans aligned to campaign objectives (awareness, demand generation, event acquisition, partner value), including targeting approach, content mix, timelines, and distribution strategy.
- Performance and analytics: Track performance with clear KPIs (reach, engagement, CTR, follower growth, CPL/CPA where applicable), produce insights, and recommend optimizations based on data.
- Test-and-learn / best practice building: Run experiments (creative, audience, messaging, cadence), document learnings, and turn hands-on results into repeatable playbooks and best practices for the broader team.
- Stakeholder management: Work closely with regional marketing, brand/portfolio teams, content, design, marketing ops, and sales teams to gather inputs, align priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs on time.
- Community and brand management: Support social listening and community management, ensuring timely, professional responses and consistent brand voice across markets.
- Agency-style delivery: Manage multiple briefs and timelines, maintain quality control, and bring structure to workflows (briefing, approvals, reporting, retros).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven B2B social media experience: Significant hands-on experience managing B2B social channels and campaigns, ideally across multiple markets or business lines.
- Strong content marketing skills: Excellent writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to shape narratives and create content that resonates with business audiences.
- Analytical and performance-driven: Comfortable using data to plan, evaluate, and optimize campaigns; able to translate insights into practical improvements and recommendations.
- Great communicator and team player: Strong collaboration skills, confident working in a matrix/regional team and managing stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
- Mandarin is a strong plus: Ability to support Mandarin copy/adaptation and collaborate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders is highly valued.
