Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will be part of a project-based delivery team responsible for developing, enhancing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications. You will report to a Team Lead and collaborate closely with business users and cross-functional IT teams to deliver high-quality, leading-edge technology solutions that enable clients digital capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a project team to analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications in line with business requirements.
• Enhance and maintain existing systems to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Provide application support in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with internal IT policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with business units, project managers, and other IT teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in application development and support.
• Strong experience with the following technologies:
• AS400 / IBM iSeries
• COBOL
• SMART400
• IBM MQ
• Business Objects
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
