Job Description

The Senior Specialist (Talent Acquisition Focus) is a strategic and hands-on HR professional responsible for building and maintaining a high-quality talent pipeline and enhancing employer branding. This role drives end-to-end recruitment, partners with business leaders to anticipate workforce needs, and ensures an exceptional candidate and employee experience. In addition to talent acquisition, you will support HR operations, employee relations, performance management and HR initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning (Primary)

  • Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Manage recruitment metrics, talent pipelines, and employer branding initiatives
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives

2. HR Operations & Strategy

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including payroll coordination, benefits administration, HRIS updates, and compliance with labour laws
  • Liaison with benefits vendors and support the administration of benefits programs. Provide guidance to employees on policies related to compensation, benefits, and rewards
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement HR strategies and drive HR projects such as policy development, process improvements, and HR system implementations

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Support and facilitate onboarding, learning and development program to ensure employees are aligned with company culture and expectations
  • Lead employee engagement activities, surveys, and initiatives to foster a positive work environment
  • Support performance management, including goal setting and documentations throughout appraisal cycle

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • A minimum of 3 years progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition and end-to-end recruitment.
  • Proven experience in building high-quality talent pipelines and employer branding initiatives.
  • Exposure to HR operations, employee relations, performance management, learning & development and HR projects.
  • Ability to manage metrics, reporting and dashboards to track recruitment and HR data.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in start-up or fast-growing SaaS environment is a plus.
